Afternoon Activities

by Cait on June 28, 2009

It’s been a busy but fun afternoon!  The weather held up nicely and we were able to take the kids for ice cream.  We chose to go to the other ice cream shop in town – The Creamery.  It’s a quaint little place surrounded by farm land that makes all their own ice cream.

It was so great to see the kids.  My sister and I babysat them regularly all throughout high school and college so we always make a point to sneak in a visit while we’re home.

Since I didn’t get any ice cream today (too full from brunch), I was pretty hungry by the time we finally got home and had an apple for a snack before Patrick, Shannon and I headed out for a walk with Clara.

We just did a quick mile around the block as Clara can’t handle much more distance than that.  Actually, we had to pick her up and carry her for the second half mile – it’s tough being such a little dog!

Upon arriving home I chugged water and dug into THIS exciting thing that I picked up at the bagel place this morning:

I’ve seen Mrs. May’s products on some of the other blogs but have never seen them in any of the stores in Hoboken, so you can imagine my surprise to find them in our local bagel place sitting in between the Drake’s coffee cakes and Hostess cupcakes!

Also sitting next to them was this guy which I picked up to bring back for Mike.  He’s actually at his baseball game as we speak…

I’m getting ready to head out for a run then make some dinner with the family!  Hope you’re all enjoying your Sundays :-D
