Early Morning Fast Breaking

by Cait on June 29, 2009

It was an early morning for me today as I’m commuting into the city from Connecticut.  My family and I just couldn’t say goodbye yesterday so we decided to extend our visit for one more night :-)

Last night I stayed pretty stuffed from my salad so rather than my ice cream, I ended the night with some chocolate hazelnut tea and The Next Food Network Star

My sister and I are Food Network junkies and when we’re together it’s pretty much on 24/7!

This morning I made a light yet filling yogurt parfait.  I tried vanilla chobani for the first time and I actually really liked it!

You won’t see a lot of cow’s dairy on the blog as I’m lactose-intolerant so I tend to go for soy-based products…but every once in a while I’ll pop a lactaid and enjoy my favorites (pizza, ice cream, yogurt) :-D

Toppings included: .5 a Georgia peach, ~.5 cup of raspberries, ~3/4 of a cranberry nuts & seeds bar, ~2 tsp. slivered almonds and a walnut on top!

Sorry for the dark pictures – the sun wasn’t even up yet!

I’m off to catch the train into the city!  Happy Monday everyone!!

Mrs. Myers – I picked it up at my local grocery store (A&P). It’s STASH tea brand which you can find here. Good luck and thanks for reading! :)
