This afternoon we celebrated a co-worker’s birthday (Happy Birthday Ali!) with none other than Magnolia’s cupcakes!

Magnolia is one of the best-known cupcake places in the city and we just recently got one right across from our building, which is absolutely awesome. (For those Sex and the City fans out there, you may remember Carrie and Miranda’s scene eating pink frosted cupcakes outside Magnolia – makes my sister and I crave cupcakes every time without fail!)
I didn’t have one for fear of spoiling my dinner appetite so I can’t give a proper review, but they definitely looked pretty darn tasty!
When I got home this was waiting in my mailbox…….

MY AMAZING GRASS PACKAGE!! I was so hoping this would be here waiting upon my return so you can imagine how thrilled I was to find it. I see a Green Chocolate Monster in my near future…
For dinner tonight I tried something new that I found at a grocery store while home this weekend – It’s All Good’s Veggie Chick’n Santa Fe Good Stuff

WOW!
These did not disappoint! For those of you unfamiliar with “chick’n,” I will warn you that if you’re expecting it to taste exactly like the meat, you’ll be let down. It has a unique flavor that’s definitely wonderful within its own right, but won’t be enjoyed if you have your heart set on a certain taste.
Anyway, the sauce accompanied by the black bean and corn stuffing?? SO. GOOD. I put it over the last of my salad ingredients as they were on their final day and served it with a toasted whole wheat pita which I of course broiled with a little olive oil and salt

Followed by this guy:

I honestly don’t know if I was actually hungry for this or if I was just suffering withdrawal from not having one all day! Either way, it tasted great
I’m not sure what the rest of the night holds…but I’m thinking it’s going to be something active – I’ve had enough sitting for one day!
