The first was this delicious iced coffee (complimented by my boss’ beautiful plant – she’s got quite the green thumb and it helped me continue my green morning!)

The second was…I FOUND MY MISSING BARS!

I guess I accidentally put the entire bag of them in my desk drawer when I got in yesterday apparently forgetting that I needed some for home as well …I swear, sometimes I think I’d lose my head if it weren’t attached!
The third and final exciting thing was…LUNCH WITH THE GIRLS!

About an hour before we left I chomped down a crisp gala apple (seriously – I think I ate it in about 4 bites) because my stomach was starting to growl and I don’t like getting too hungry.

It did the trick perfectly – held me over until lunch but didn’t spoil my appetite! There’s nothing worse than ruining your appetite before a meal! I like to fully enjoy all my meals and when I’ve spoiled my appetite before one I get so disappointed!
For lunch we went to Bocca which my co-workers and I are all obsessed with due to it’s limitless options. They seriously have everything from pizza and paninis to sushi and full-plated meals! But the hands-down BEST thing they have there?

Their salad bar! Seriously, NO-THING beats it. It’s always fresh with tons of add-in options, an endless number of salad dressings and free sourdough bread hunks!

I of course chose a huge salad to continue my green-themed day and I am now COMPLETELY stuffed! But it was worth every bite

The mix was…
- Mixed greens
- Black Beans
- Broccoli
- Carrots
- Celery
- Cucumbers
- 1 hard-boiled egg
With balsamic vinaigrette and a hunk-a-licious piece of sourdough on the side

My co-worker Michelle wanted to share her lunch too…

A big healthy salad followed by a thirst-quenching Diet Coke! You DO NOT want to get in the way of Michelle and her Diet Cokes, trust me
The happily stuffed crowd…(look at all those empty salad bowls! way to go Health girls!)

It was a great lunch and an awesome way to break up the day. Thanks girls!!
