Under the Weather

Evening Guys -

Sadly my day didn’t progress quite like I had hoped it would. I ended up feeling really under the weather around noon and leaving work shortly there after. :(

The rest of the day was spent sleeping, sucking on cough drops and slurping massive amounts of tea -

I’m still feeling less than stellar but I’m hoping to get into bed early enough to knock this thing straight out of me!

I LOATHE being sick. I’m such a schedule girl so anything that takes me away from my normal routine (going to work, working out, having an appetite) just doesn’t sit well with me!

I made a simple dinner tonight using the other half of my veggie burger from lunch -

It did the trick with minimal effort which was exactly what I was looking for.

I’m off to climb into bed with this doofus -

Ugh, I don’t feel so hot tonight either and I’m chugging Amazing Grass and hoping for the best. Maybe I should switch over to tea as well.

Hey dear! Sorry you aren’t feeling very well :( I hate being under the weather too. I hope tomorrow you wake up feeling refreshed and well. At least you have some wonderful looking eats to give you fighting power!

I, too, like snuggling up to stuffed animals when I am not feeling well. It brings a sense of comfort in my book.

Boo! Get some rest and keep watching good eppies! You will feel better soon! (On an exciting note, my hub is downloading the first season of Everwood for me so I don’t even have to wait for netflix – it is 66% downloaded as I type this and I am so excited). Tell your sister happy birthday and then get some shut eye!

I hope you didn’t catch it from me! lol It’s going around right now. I’m doing the same thing, got my cough drops next to me and my tea! I’m almost over it though, get some rest and feel better! Drink some Emergen-C, helps also.

Hi Cait! I hope that you are feeling better today. I just wanted to say thank you to you… I have been overweight my entire life, and just started on the road to a healthier me about three months ago. I have lost 40 pounds so far. I have a lot more to go, but I know I can do it! Your blog has helped me tremendously. Seeing what you eat, reading about your activity level gives me a better guide than reading books or just plain recipes. I have also become very fond of yogurt messes!! :-) Have a great day!

Awww that stinks. Hope you are feeling better this morning! I hear ya…I am a total baby when I don’t feel well. Try the lemon trick…Take a whole lemon and juice it (pulp and all) into a mug of hot water, add a little sugar and drink up. Seems to work everytime for me. If I’m really sick I’ll even eat a whole lemon like you would an orange. Just seems to make me feel better. Get some rest and feel good!
