Dinner and a Show

by Cait on September 26, 2009

I managed to sneak in a quick 3.5 mile run later this afternoon and it felt fabulous. I so miss my Needham Fall runs. All the families are prepping dinner and the kids are soaking in the last few hours of daylight…it’s just wonderful.

I came home to Julia parading around in her Ariel Halloween costume just before dinner.

It was the cutest thing EVER.

I quickly stretched and showered and by the time I came out dinner was piping hot and on the table! What treatment, right?! I could seriously get re-used to this. ;)

We had pasta with meat sauce (ground turkey), side salads and bread. It was just what I wanted after my run :)

I’m sad this day has come to an end – I want this trip to go on forever!!

My sisters and I are all snuggled up in bed together getting ready to watch The Office. My brother-in-law walks in and laughed. He thinks it’s funny we’re as close as we are :)

Night!

I love it! How fun to have a family that is so close (and a niece that is so cute!) – I know what you mean about not wanting family trips to end…I always feel the same way. :-)

Your night sounds awesome. I wish I had sisters I was close with! Pasta and bread would be really good for dinner too.

How awesome that you were in Boston this weekend! I am glad that you finally found the Honeycrisp apples, I have been obsessed with them this season. I hope the baby comes soon :)
