Food Coma But No Baby!

by Cait on September 26, 2009

I totally fell asleep last night before posting dinner! I was in a serious food coma, but it was well worth it!

The rest of the afternoon was spent playing in the yard -

The kiddos developed quite the intricate game. Court and I were trying to figure it out from our chairs but what seemed to make perfect sense to them totally confused us! Haha. But it was cute to watch.

Before heading out I snacked on a TJ’s Vanilla Almond Crunch granola bar -

It held me over pretty well!

For dinner we ordered pizza from a place called Kosta’s. We got a half vegetarian half pepperoni.

I had a piece and a half of the veggie and a slice of the pepperoni with the pepperoni peeled off. The veggie was delicious but SO cheesy. The pepperoni was a little less heavy on the cheese so that’s why I switched over :D

Alongside I had some leafy greens with some balsamic and basil vinaigrette

…you know my weakness for the pizza/salad combo!

We also ordered some spicy thai food from a place called Rice Barn in our last ditch attempts to get this baby out of my siser’s belly! It’s SO close. I’ll be so sad if it comes right when we leave!

Anyway, we chose the Spicy Basil Noodle with Tofu which I had a few tastes of -

It was quite delicious!

Julia was happy to stick to her Annie’s Mac and Cheese ;)

After dinner Julia decided to have a talk with the new baby to tell it to COME OUT!

It was pretty precious.

I fell asleep feeling so happy with my sisters, my niece and my brother-in-law surrounding me. What a great trip this has been!

Come on baby!
Your poor sister must be ready beyond belief for this birth to start.
Hopefully baby comes in time for you to be there :)

Yay for family!! Come on baby!!

I LOVE veggie pizza – especially when it has huge hunks of vegetables on it – like yours did. Have a good rest of your visit!
