This day was crazy for me!
Sadly it seems like every week for the next couple weeks are going to be a bit nutso – but hey, at least it keeps me busy right??
Oddly today I didn’t get hungry in between meals. I actually felt kinda sad because I had packed some killer snacks! Haha. But I think I’m coming down with some sort of cold which always takes my appetite away a bit.
It also could have been the 18 million cough drops and cups of tea I downed throughout the day…just a thought
Luckily though there’s a doctor right in my building (have I mentioned how much I love my company??) so I was able to shoot up there and get a quick consultation.
Once I heard no strept throat and nothing contagious I considered myself good to go (my method with getting better is usually just to pretend I’m not really sick. Mind over matter people, mind over matter).
What about you guys? What’re your best tips for overcoming illness?
When I came home, all I wanted was something warm. But oddly, I was also craving protein (which usually happens when I’ve gone longer without food than I’m used to).
I didn’t have any soup…
…but I did have a box of Tandoor Chef Chicken Tikka -
LOVE this stuff!
I quickly heated it up and threw it over some brown rice and paired it with a joseph lavash
I attempted roasted brussel sprouts but by the time I was finished with my portion above I wasn’t hungry any longer so Mike is doing clean up on them
It have to admit though – looking at these pictures with no green definitely makes me feel like something was missing! It really makes you think about how much more appealing veggies make your food look!
I washed it all down with the rest of my sprite zero from the other night and that was that!
It was absolutely delectable and just what I wanted
Mike and I finished Dexter Season 4 last night so now we’re onto GREEK!
Think we’re TV fanatics or what? Haha.
