Shredded

by Cait on March 29, 2010

Whew! What a day! It was go-go-go from the moment I got up right up until this very moment. I started the day off with a little Level One Shredding. It’s official, I’ve now been shredded! One day down, 29 to go! I’ll be sure to keep you updated on my Shredding travails :)

After shred and a quick shower I dug into a quick breakfast that consisted of half a spelt bagel with one egg and a HUUUGE coffee with soy milk.

The spelt bagels were a new try for me. I probably won’t be buying them again. They weren’t bad, but I found they tasted VERY salty – and coming from a girl who LOVES salt, that’s sayin’ somethin’ ;) .

For as salty as it was, it definitely held me over though – it wasn’t until well after 1pm that I realized I was starting to feel hungry! (That might also be a product of how busy I was though)

So when my stomach told me it was time, I broke for lunch and had a huge lavash with Smart Deli turkey, avocado, spicy mustard and tons of lettuce. On the side I had an apple – not very unique but it was definitely delicious!

And mid-afternoon an Odwalla bar to carry my through until dinner.

Dinner was divine.

Yay for the shred!! I did 30 days right before I went to Mexico over Christmas, and I could DEFINITELY see a differences in my muscle tone. Yay for Jillian. She knows her stuff. :-)

Also, I don’t really like salty stuff, so I’ll me sure NOT to buy those bagles. :-) Thanks for trying them so I don’t have to.

Haha – did you see a difference? I’m really curious to see. I think I’m going to do Level 1 for 30 days and then 2 for 30 and 3 for 30 – is that what you did? I feel like level 1 is not that hard but maybe doing it every day will make a difference??

And yeah – definitely don’t buy those bagels (or bagles, haha). I’ll give them another evaluation next time I eat them, but so far I’m not in love

Oh yummy! That sandwich looks amazing. I’m excited to hear about what you think of the 30 day Shred. Once I have this baby I’m thinking I may do that as cross training with running to get back down to size.

Oooh I’ve never seen that Odwalla flava before, but I love sweet and salty pairings!

Haha having Jillian kick your ass is one of the few twisted pleasures in life.

I did the Shred for like 2 weeks and then I got bored. I hope you enjoy it more than I did!!
