Learning to Shred

by Cait on March 31, 2010

Thank you guys so much for all your Shredding advice. I guess I wasn’t thinking very hard when I thought that I should do Level One for 30 days straight! You’re all totally right – I would get so bored!! So I think I’m going to go with all of your suggestions to do 10 days at Level One, 10 at Two and 10 more at Three. That seems much more reasonable. My goal is to do it for 30 days (not straight, just get through the 10 days at each level) before getting bored and moving on – wish me luck!

I once again started my day (Day 3!!) with Jillian who promptly kicked my butt :)

From there I moved onto breakfast – which was a hard boiled egg with a hunk of warmed multigrain bread and of course a coffee.

For once I managed to get creative with lunch and of course the picture came out blurry! Oh well – hopefully you can get the gist.

I piled a spelt bagel high with some chunk light tuna, lettuce and mustard and had a crispy apple on the side.

I may have been too quick to judge the spelt bagel – it didn’t taste quite as salty as it did the first time…

Late afternoon I dug into a Mocha-walla Odwalla bar

And, being in the Easter spirit, I couldn’t resist a couple of these babies:

Holiday-themed candy is the best ;)

When I got home I wasn’t feeling very hungry given my large afternoon snack so I went for a quick 4-miler in this finally nice weather! It felt awesome and I was definitely ready to eat by the time I had showered and stretched!

Dinner was pretty simple – just an Amy’s Black Bean burrito with a side salad.

I also realized that I never showed you guys the goodies Mike and I picked up from Sweet! So here you go :)

Peanut butter chocolate cupcake, toasted marshmallow cupcake and mocha chocolate cupcake.

PLUS, I came home to TWO packages!!

One from my fabulous sister (thanks Shanny!!):

And one from those friendly people at Kashi :D

That’s pretty much my day in pictures! Off to watch Modern Family with Mike (yes, we’re incredibly lame and have TV shows on every night of the week :D )

I’m glad you’ve decided to switch up the shred program. I hope you have fun with it!

Reese eggs are my all time favorite Easter. I don’t buy them anymore because I have no self control. I used to eat an entire package in a sitting when I was younger!

Oh my gosh, Modern Family was SO FUNNY last night!!! I was drinking milk during it, and at one point I actually spit milk out all over myself because I was laughing so hard. I think I’m going to have to watch it again tonight…I hope you loved it as much.

Good luck with the shredding!
