Make it Bright

Ugh – it’s such a dreary, depressing day. WHERE IS SPRING!?! It was such a tease to get such a nice day on Saturday only to be followed up with rain, rain and more rain

Okay – enough complaining…let’s get to the good stuff!

I did my best to bring cheer into my day with BRIGHT plates and dishes! I started my morning off using my brand new pastel polka dot mug and my happiest coffee cup!

This breakfast alone brought a lot of CHEER into my day

Lunch was made BRIGHT with my juicy orange -

Turkey on whole wheat potato bread with cucumbers, lettuce, mustard and a juicy orange

And finally – dinner’s CHEER was brought in the form of more polka dots!

I was feeling kind of lazy and I had to get some laundry done (after my slacking yesterday!) so I just cooked up some eggs and toasted some bread. Good enough for me!

Check out my Fruit Not Fat Galaxy Granola review! I finally got around to it – oops!

Have a wonderful evening everyone!! I can’t wait for my laundry to be done so I can sit on my couch and watch Chuck!

Yesssss those polka dots are so great! Definitely cheery – I wish I had some to brighten up my dreary day. What IS with this weather? Boo…summer hurry up!

Also, those breakfast shots are the best things ever! It looks like artwork that I would frame and hang in my kitchen – not joking at all.

All those meals look yummy but it all seems like too little food for an active twenty-something. No snacks? Not judging, just curious. I just know I’d be going to bed hungry if I didn’t have a snack or two in there somewhere.

Hey Clare – No I definitely have snacks but I’m not as good at taking pictures of those! I always include them if I remember to snap a photo but sometimes I just plain forget! :)

Hi Cait, love that polka dotted pastel mug! it sure cheers you up, just by their colours!. saw it on tina’s blog too. have been wondering where did you all get these lovely mugs? are they for sale online?
btw, i couldn’t find any that looked like your starbucks mug, i mentioned in your earlier post. :) well at least not here where i live. but just looking at it in your blog would suffice! :)

Oooh! I’m so sorry you weren’t able to find the Starbucks mug! That’s such a bummer. As for the polka dot dishes, they are some on fishs eddy’s website…but I just got mine at plain old CVS for $2 each! :)

Hey Brandy! Nope, it’s not well-known, this is actually only my second time buying it. It’s just at a local grocery store by me – it’s Martin’s Whole Wheat Potato Bread. It’s SO delicious :)

Ohhhh…..I’ll have to scout it out. That just sounds to die for! Occasionally, I pick up a loaf of regular potato bread, and I end up putting it back before I check out! I just can’t handle that there ins’t at least a gram of fiber in the slices. I’m making this a must-find.
