Apologies in advance for the less than stellar post…I’m working with limited resources as our internet at home has decided not to work for the time being
Anyway, I was up before my alarm this morning and decided it would be smart to head down to the gym for a quick cross-training workout. I was really bad about cross training right before I got injured and I think that might have been a large part of how my back problems developed – too much running, too little everything else.
I just did a quick 25-minutes on the elliptical followed by some core strengthening exercises and headed back upstairs immediately after to get started on breakfast!
My Warrior Crunch Granola from Kath’s OpenSky deal arrived yesterday so I knew that it needed to be part of breakfast!
Delicious.
Into the jar went:
- Warrior Crunch Granola
- Raspberry Chobani
- Peaches
- Sunflower Seed Butter
Delicious Peet’s Coffee on the side!
Another great start to the day! I can’t believe it’s only Tuesday but hopefully the rest of the week goes smoothly and it’s the weekend in no time

No Internet is the worst. It’s like you don’t realize how much you love it until it’s gone!
Haha EXACTLY!!
Yum! I love Peet’s coffee…it is one of the things I miss the most from the west coast (I lived in Berkeley for a year after college). I’ve also been loving my breakfasts in jars – it’s the perfect portable container to throw in your bag and bring to work if you’re running late!
Me too!! I had it when I was in Boston during and after college – I miss it so much but at least I can buy the ground kind at the grocery stores
And I agree! I need to do that more often so I’m not so late! Haha
No internet stinks! Haha I seriously cannot cope with it
I know – isn’t it so crazy to think about a time where there wasn’t any!?
It’s all gooood! —Still looks like you made a delicious breakfast. Have a happy Tuesday!
Haha thanks Julie
No internet SUX, I might be having that problem if this hurricane hits, yikes!
I want your breakfast!
Ugh I heard about that! Be safe!!
I hate internet troubles, but I’m glad you were still able to show us your awesome eats
Me too – not having internet is such a problem now a days!!
disagree about your less than stellar post…your breakfast looks pretty darn good to me!
Haha aw, thank you!!
You know what no internet is good for: a trip to the coffee shop! The coffee makes it a little bit better.
Haha you’re absolutely right!! I’m so envious of people who just sit in Starbucks, sip their coffees and do work on their laptop! I want to be that person!!
I love the shots from the top of the jars! No internet… that would definitely make me a little upset. Starbucks is always the perfect solution!
Agreed – this was Peet’s which was also good
Sunflower seed butter on peaches is definitely a favorite of mine! Your photography looks great
And your dinner from last night has me craving asparagus! The price on asparagus at my local market skyrocketed this week.. i’m going through withdrawal, heh!
We bought this frozen at Trader Joe’s! It was definitely a decent alternative to fresh if you’re open to it!
And so glad you like the photos!
i just started drinking Peet’s coffee this summer and it’s definitely one of my favorites! good luck with the internet situation!
YAY! It’s just so good isn’t it!?
Good work blogging without the internet…I’m impressed. I love that overhead shot of the gooey sunbutter on top of the peaches, it makes me want to swim in there.
Happy Tuesday, friend!
Haha – it makes me want to swim in there too!!
I bought the Warrior Crunch granola as well. Is it as good as the Clusters? I haven’t tried it yet
I don’t think anything can ever be as good as Cville Cluster! It’s different, but good in it’s own right
Tastes like Fall!
I have a love/hate relationship with the internet. I love it when it works and I hate it when it doesn’t work. It can be so time consuming!! Hope everything is back up and running smooth soon
Haha I agree completely with that! And thank you – me too!
UGH….we all feel helpless when the internet goes down :-/ I know I have panic modes at work when it happens…I litterally cannot do anything – it’s all my work. You are helpless. Makes ya sad when you think about it – how much we really depend on it. I guess it’s our way of life now?? your breakfast looks so yummy as usual
Haha totally makes me sad! I miss the old days
Yum! Ever since I saw that warrior Crunch granola on Kath’s blog I’ve been dying to try it! Good to hear it’s as delicious as it sounds/looks
I am terrible with cross training as well… or rather I’m not sure if I can actually consider myself terrible at because I don’t do ANY! yikes! I run a lot…pretty much every day and I can tell I need to strengthen my core for sure. I think core strengthening definitely helps support the lower back
After a long run on Sunday morning I was barely able to walk on my left leg yesterday. I bought leg compression sleeves and used a frozen water ball to roll my leg… it actually is working! Now I just need to be less stubborn and focus on weights and core and all the things I avoid… blah blah blah hahaha
I hope this week flies by too!
Haha – I’m the same exact way! Everything but running is definitely “blah blah blah” to me
I really want to try that granola!!!
Lovely jars as always and hope your internet is up and running soon
It was really good! Nice and chewy
I love WCG! It’s so dang good! I got three bags, yum. Super chewy. And it’s dope that all the $$$$$$$ goes to Susan!!
AGREED!! That was my main motivation behind buying it but I was just that much more happy when it tasted so delicious
Love the mason jars- I need to buy some new dishes and glasses… Thinking Crate & Barrel or Pier 1?!
I got mine at Michael’s which is a craft store – it was the only place I could find them!
Great, thanks for sharing! I was planning to go to Michael’s sometime this week already to pick up a picture frame!
Of course! Definitely grab some jars while you’re there, they have SO many!
