Morning!

I woke up and went out straight for a run!

Quick and easy but I was happy to get it in.

When I came back and showered I struggled with the oats or yogurt decision.  I wanted oats, but I also wanted yogurt.  It went back and forth in my mind until finally I just decided to do BOTH!

Made even better when I realized I was at the end of a Sunflower Seed Butter jar!!

I immediately filled it right up, plopped myself in front of the fireplace and went to town.

Mmm mmm good.

All stirred up and devoured!

Your short but fast runs are inspiring me to get out there and run bright and early, despite the freezing weather, which is a near-impossible feat for me at this time of year. Thanks for that! Also, your b-fast looks deeeelish. Happy Monday to you! :)

You definitely should! Do they have them in Canada?

Reply

Jenny December 12, 2011

Looks delicious! I”m going to make it now. :) But, how do you prepare coach’s oats with less water than directed on the package? Do you make the oats hot or cold or boil then cool?

Reply

admin December 12, 2011

Yay! I prepare the Coach’s Oats with usually a little more water than suggested and I make them hot! :) I usually microwave them according to the instructions on the package but when I have the time, I prefer to do them over the stovetop :)

Jenny December 12, 2011

Thanks! Love your site. I read it everyday. :) Follow-up question. Did you cool the cooked oats before mixing with the yogurt?

Reply

admin December 12, 2011

Oh wonderful – nothing makes me happier than to hear that! I cooked the oats and immediately added them to the sunflower butter jar (so that the sunflower butter would get all melty), let it sit for a bit and then added the strawberries and yogurt :)
