What. A. Day!
It was our last day to ski and we wanted to make the most of it so we were up early again and out the door right after a hearty breakfast of course

Just a simple yogurt bowl this morning – it’s one thing I know I can always count on to keep me full for hours.

Into the bowl went:
0% Greek yogurt
Sliced strawberries
Fruit & Nut granola
Spoonful of melted peanut butter (so that I could pour it over the yogurt…plus, the warm nut butter on top of the cold yogurt makes it taste almost like ice cream!)

Coffee on the side of course:

Then we hit the slopes!

It was nearly 4pm by the time we even looked at our watches! I guess my breakfast really did do the trick!
A stop for a little heat by the fire…

Then we grabbed hot chocolates to warm up:

It literally snowed ALL day long. It was awesome.

Since we missed lunch, we headed out to an early dinner at Empire Burger:

House salad, turkey burger (which I ordered with guacamole and they gave me bacon too!) and french fries with honey mustard dipping sauce.
Licked clean.
Tasted like the best thing I’d ever eaten.

We say goodbye early tomorrow morning and BOY oh BOY am I going to miss this place!

I know getaways are supposed to be restful, but I always get up early on vacation. I’m too scared of missing something good.
Hahah I’m the EXACT same way! I try to make every 3rd vacation relaxing, adventurous vacations are just too fun to pass up!
And yeah – you need a good fry every once in a while!! These were actually incredible.

Someone linked your site on my post and said that you and I have similar tastes, especially in our cereal bowls.
