I headed up to Boston bright and early this morning to get a little time in with my sister, brother-in-law and nieces!
Before hitting the road I threw together a quick breakfast:
Hit the spot and filled me up perfectly!
Coffee was grabbed on the way and in no time I was greeted by these cuties:
Can’t beat the constant entertainment that kids provide!
We hung around for a bit, quickly changed and then headed to the gym for a family workout!
Not sure what the rest of the day holds but I think a little Auntie/Niece manicure/pedicure is in order
Happy Saturday everyone!

hope you have a fun time in Boston- maybe our paths will cross here!
Thank you! And yeah that would be great! If not, next time I’m in the area I’ll definitely let you know!
Auntie/Niece manicure/pedicure sounds like a lot of fun! Have a great weekend!
Agreed!
Too adorable!!
I’m heading to Boston in a few weeks! I’ve never been but I can’t wait.
Ah so fun! Boston is one of my FAVORITE places! I did a list of my Top 5 favorites for the city a while back http://caitsplate.me/2012/01/31/top-5-boston-trip-edition/
Yum yum yummmy!! Looks so delicious. I love sunflower seed butter! Hope you’re having a great time with your nieces! Enjoy the mani/pedi date
Where is your granola from? Looks so good!
This is just BearNaked Peak Protein and I just got it from the regular grocery!
“cute as a cupcake” is definitely the right shirt for them! Super cute! Hope you enjoyed the mani/pedi!
Haha I know I agree! And we definitely did!
Is that the stonyfield o’soy yogurt? I just wanted to let you know that if it is, that soy yogurt still has dairy in it and is not vegan.
I am lactose intolerant (pretty badly!) and never thought a soy yogurt that claimed to be soy would have dairy in it too and it does. Just FYI.. don’t want you to keep getting stomach aches!
Oh really?! It was the Stoneyfield O’Soy! Luckily I’m not lactose intolerant (just fasting) but that’s good to know! I can’t believe they would sell a product called “O’Soy” that has dairy in it!
It has an entire section on their website talking about how it is “the answer for those looking for a lactose-free, non-dairy source of calcium and protein; and for people who want a delicious way to enjoy the nutritional benefits of soy.” http://www.stonyfield.com/products/stonyfield/about-our-soy-yogurt. So strange!
what a quick and wholesome breakfast, Cait! i’ve never bought or eaten chia seeds before. i hear they are a great addition to granola and granola bars, which i make all of the time.
They are definitely a great addition! I highly recommend them!

Thanks!
Oh I love some quality aunting time!!!! Looks like a blast.
It definitely was! Can’t beat it
I just can’t get used to cold breakfasts! Maybe I’ll try again in the summer – but right now, hot oatmeal and GF waffles hit the spot!
I say whatever works is what you should stick with!
I agree though, I have a hard time with oats in the summer, I usually just want yogurt, smoothies and fruit! For some reason I can do yogurt in the winter though!
